Branda Walsh is an American actress, and started her acting career at the age of nine, due to serious illness of both of her parents. She has done a few guest roles in series like Voyagers, Father Murphy and Airwolf. Then, she bagged Jenny wilder role at the age of eleven in ‘Little House on the Prairie’. Later on, she worked in ‘Our House’ and ‘Heathers’. Finally she got this role of Branda Walsh in 1990.

In Beverly Hills, her role from the season one to finale is mostly about her love affair with Dylan. In first season she is not ready to have physical relation with Dylan then in next season she does so, and they break up for several times for different reasons in the course of seasons.

At the end of the fourth season she left the show, and reportedly the reasons behind this were her frictions with co-stars. Now she is coming back in the spin off as Brands again. This time she will play director of the high school musical instead of being just Dylan’s possessive girl friend.

In her personal life Shannon had two brief marriages with Ashley Hamilton and Rick Salomon.

Despite being a struggler from the young age, she is not good at conduct. She has spent ten days in jail for drunk driving and twenty days for work-release duty. On sets too, people complain about her misbehavior with co-stars.
