As we all are aware of the fact that our favorite series, which ended almost a decade back, is now going to hit the screens in a completely new facade. The creators decided to get back some of the stars from the original series, so they approached Shannen Doherty. Shannen was always interested in doing the series, but this time she was asking for more money. Anyways, as things got settled between the creators and the star, finally we have confirmed news that Shannen will be in the remake of the series.

Well, according to the sources we have come to know that she will be doing a recurring role in the series. It’s not only her but even Jennie Garth, from the original series who have settled for the same. On the other hand, we have Jason Priestley, who is very excited about the whole idea of doing a remake of the series. But, he confesses that he will not be doing the series in the way his former co-stars have offered. In fact, he has some thing different to do. He will be there to offer any help but off screen. He is of the view that he has more to offer as a director and that is the place that suits him best. So, instead of seeing him on screen, we might just have an episode by him.

To me the whole idea rocks, to watch the series from a completely new start. I mean who thought of it? We all have always heard of the remake of the movies or even have heard of a movie being made out of a series, but a remake of a series, it sounds good to me. And, I am just hoping that we get something different and that it is up to the expectations of all. I am waiting for the series to get restarted.

The house has five bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms in about 3,300 square feet. The home has French doors in all the main rooms that lead to a manicured lawn, an outdoor dining area with a built-in barbecue and a solar-powered saltwater pool with a Baja shelf and spa. The master suite has high ceilings, two oversized custom closets and you can also view the city from the house.

There is a custom-designed fireplace in the living room, a formal dining room and a media room. The freshly upgraded kitchen is made up of imported marble countertops and top-of-the-line appliances. The house has a state-of-the-art sound system and has hardwood floors.

Initially people were in doubts about the revamp of the original series of 90210, but after the latest cast announcements, everyone is in good mood. Now folks, we all know that Brenda and Kelly Taylor did not get along very well behind the scenes during original 90210. There were media reports of tension between two, when they were just 19 and 20, but I guess they are mature as well as professional now. So, things would be different… hope so!

Well, it’d be good to see some new faces on series, but the most interesting thing to see is, if the reunion will be emotional one or it would just end up in one of them being tossed out.

Hilary Duff has been offered the role of Annie Mills on Beverly Hills 90210 spin off. And it becomes Beverly Hills + Hilary Duff= Brilliant. This role is such an achievement for her and series will definitely offer her a plenty of opportunities to shine in TV world.

Whether she will accept this role or not, it’s not apparent but if she accepts the role, then, she’ll be playing an emo-listening role on series.

Personally, I am happy to see her on series. I don’t know what’s going on her side as it’d be tough for her to commit to a weekly series now, when she’s focusing on her film and music career.

Someone may be joining this upcoming spin off, but someone has already quitted the series. If you don’t know Rob Thomas, Veronica Mars creator was asked to write about but due to his other primary schedules, he decided to skip the series as a show runner but will stay as project consultant.

The upcoming spin off has become somehow ho-hum as Rob Thomas, the creator of Veronica Mars is stepping down as show runner of the new series. The reason is that his two other pilots on ABC are under development. Rob himself says, “I’d do the additional pass [of the pilot script], but I’m swamped with the two other projects and ABC has me in first position.”

Rob Thomas is not willing to continue as a show runner but he will be involved in the project as a consultant. Meanwhile, the network is looking for his replacement so the production has been pushed back.

I am the biggest (Okay, bigger) fan of Beverly Hills, 90210 and I was so excited to watch the spin off because of Rob Thomas, a tight tie-wearing director/producer/writer as his produced versions are just superb ( watch veronica mars). I must say that the series will definitely suffer from his departure as he’s one of whom, those can make a success. Meanwhile you can watch the earlier seasons of the show here.

CW network is planning to make a present-day version of Beverly Hills, 90210. Veronica Mars’s creator Rob Thomas is asked to write for the spin off and it would bring Thomas back to CW after the end of Veronica Mars.

Beverly Hills, 90210 spin off will revolve around two teenagers who move from Midwest to Beverly Hills. No word is here, on whether any of the original cast will appear.

The original Beverly Hills 90210 series was launched in 1990s and the show completed 10 seasons. After 10 successful seasons, the show ended with the wedding of high school lovers David Silver and Donna Martin. With original series’ premier, Jason Priestly, Jennie Garth, Brian Austin Green, Shannen Doherty etc launched their careers. Spin off is being produced by CBS Paramount Network TV and original Beverly Hills creator Darren Star is not being involved this time. It would be the second spin off of the series.
